Requirements of Salvation

**UNDER CONSTRUCTION**

I made this page because there are a lot of false apostles and teachers in these final years of the world, teaching that
just by believing on the Lord Jesus Christ you can be saved. If it was that easy we wouldn't have scriptures
warning us that few will be saved and that the path to eternal life is narrow, of which few be there that find it.

A holy and sanctified life lived in strict obedience unto the commandments and precepts taught in the word of God,
the Holy Bible is required of all those that seek the salvation of their souls.

The plan of salvation is simple.
We are saved by faith (real hope and real trust) in God.
To be able to trust in God you must have a good conscience toward God.
To have a good conscience towards God you must obey Him.
To obey God you must know what He wants you to do.
The only place you will find God's commandments and precepts is in the Holy Bible.
James 2:19
Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.

Matthew 7:14
because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:21
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the
will of my Father which is in heaven.

James 2:17
Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

So what works are these and what does the word mean when it says believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be
saved? The works are the precepts and commandments taught to us in the Holy Bible. We are to be in the world not of the world,
living a holy and sanctified life according to God's will. When it says believe on the Lord Jesus Christ it means believe
that He did come in the flesh, that Jesus Christ truly is the Lord. Which is the beginning of one's faith.
But you must also believe His words, His doctrines, to obey the commandments and precepts He has given us through
His holy apostles in the word of God, the Holy Bible.
It is our duty to "confide wholly in him for salvation; loving, obeying, and living to his glory."
What faith (hope and trust) have you if you continue in sin and disobedience unto God's will? The answer is none.

1 John 2:17
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

If the entire Bible could be summed up in one verse I would choose the following.

Ecclesiastes 12:13.
Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

If you want to be saved from the damnation of Hell, get in the word of God, start in the New Testament at the gospel of
Matthew, in a King James Bible (PDF above) and
read every word and do exactly as God's word teaches you. Some things are hard to do and some things you will not
want to do because they may be out of your current comfort zone. But they are for your own good.
Do them and God will bless and sanctify you.
There is not much time left.

"It is this setting of the will of Jesus Christ high up above all other commandments, and proposing to
one's self as the aim that swallows up all other aims, that I may please Him-it is this, and not creeds,
forms, opinions, professions, or even a faith that simply trusts in Him for salvation, that makes
a true Christian. You are a Christian in the precise measure in which Christ's will is uppermost and
exclusive in your life, and for all your professions and your orthodoxy and your worship and
your faith, not one hair's-breadth further. Here is the signature and the common characteristic of all
real Christians, 'We labour that whether present or absent we may be well-pleasing to Him.'"
-MacLaren Commentary on 2 Corinthians 5:9
